During the day R&R will rock you with a full day of learning, and at night we'll rock you with entertainment! On Thursday, June 23 from 7-11pm, R&R presents an Evening at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum sponsored by Premiere Radio Networks. R&R Convention attendees will have the entire Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to themselves for the entire night, and there will be live performances by Jon Secada, Warren Hill and Wade Brown. All of the museum exhibits will be open for you to enjoy at your own pace. Food and drinks will be provided, so come early and stay late!
Afterward, a Smooth Jazz Club R&R from 11pm-1am will cool you for the night with a performance by rising star Paul Brown. He may not be a household name yet, but he's produced almost 50 No. 1 Smooth Jazz tracks for artists including Peter White, Boney James and Richard Elliott.
On Friday, June 24, it's the R&R Industry Achievement Awards Ceremony from 6-8pm, hosted by Kidd Kraddick, with a number of local Cleveland air personalities helping to present the awards to the industry's best and brightest. There will also be performances by SLR's J Project and BMI songwriter and Capitol recording artist Brendan James.
Right after the ceremony, join the R&R Hall of Fame Official Texas Hold 'Em Poker Challenge to benefit the TJ Martell Foundation! Are you the top dog, No. 1 poker player in the industry? Here's your chance to prove it! The tournament is limited to only 130 participants, so pre-registration is encouraged (first come, first served). The buy-in is only $50 and 100% of it goes to the TJ Martell Foundation. Prizes include a trip for two to Las Vegas! For more details contact Greg Gura at the TJ Martell Foundation at 212-833-5496.
Online registration for the R&R Convention ends June 17. Register now for $475; after that, the on-site registration rate will be $550. Our host hotel has sold out, but you can reserve a room at the Marriott Key Center for $179 per night by calling 800-228-9290 and asking for the "RRO" rate.
We'll see you in Cleveland!
