• I'm Going To Disney World!!! Cox/Orlando
has hired Susan Larkin as VP/GM of Country WWKA-FM
and Talk WDBO-AM and as GM of its Interactive
Division. She replaces Bill Hendrich, who left
earlier this year to become Cox/Jacksonville
Market Manager. Larkin begins her new duties
on Aug. 14, reporting directly to Cox/Orlando
Group VP Rich Reis. Previously Larkin served
as GSM of ABC Radio Classic Rocker KQRS and
Alternative trimulcast WGVX, WGVY & WGVZ
(Drive 105) in Minneapolis.
• Me Too!!! Disney Music Publishing/Nashville
has signed songwriter Bart Allmand. Prior to
embarking on his writing career, Allmand worked
in radio promotion for labels including RCA
and Monument.
• Not So Much: Arista/Nashville and Diamond
Rio have parted amicably, according to Sony
BMG. The label released the band's self-titled
debut album in 1991.
